Biography

Ivan Cibrario Bertolotti received the Laurea degree (summa cum laude) in computer science from the University of Torino, Torino, Italy, in 1996. Since then, he has been a Researcher with the Italian National Research Council (CNR). Currently, he is with the Istituto di Elettronica e di Ingegneria dell'Informazione e delle Telecomunicazioni (IEIIT), Politecnico di Torino, Torino, Italy. He also teaches several courses on real-time operating systems at Politecnico di Torino. He has served as a technical referee for several international conferences and journals. Since 1997, he has been a member of the IEEE Computer Society and he is an IEEE member since 2006. His current research interests include real-time operating system design and implementation, industrial communication systems and protocols, and formal methods for cryptographic protocol analysis and verification.
